All aprons and accessories are made as standard in
lightweight lead. Dependant on the end use and your
departments' requirements we offer 0.25mmPb and 0.35mmPb
and 0.50mmPb and these can be specified for the front
and back of each product as desired.
ProtecX is proud to introduce our latest innovation
StarLite lead free core material. This is one of the
lightest no lead products on the market and offers the
same attenuation properties at 100kV as lightweight
lead. Available in 0.25mm, 0.35mm & 0.50mm with the
additional benefit of being environmentally friendly and
easily disposable.

Accessories |
| Thyroid protection collars are
available in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. Each
size is also available in 0.35 or 0.50mm lead
equivalency. All styles are offered with a protective
layer in our light weight lead, selected styles are also
available with a protective layer of Earth Safe Lead
Free, please see product descriptions.
These can be personalised with one line of
embroidery, up to 12 characters, at an extra cost. You
can specify your requirements on this site.

Glasses |
| ProtecX offer a range of quality
protective eyewear in a variety of frame styles that are
comfortable and lightweight, all designed to reduce
radiation exposure to the lens and retina of the eye.
All styles are available with 'side shields' for
increased scatter radiation protection The lenses are
made of leaded glass with a minimum thickness of 2.5mm
that creates an equivalence of 0.70mm lead shielding
with minimum 97% attenuation up to 150KV.
All glasses and goggles are supplied complete with
a protective case

This includes wall apron racks
designed to allow proper storage of protective aprons,
mobile apron racks available in two sizes, and hangers
