Burlington Medical and ProtecX Join Forces
This week, Burlington Medical is proud to announce a significant step to enhance its mission to continuously increase its service and value to its customers.
Burlington has established its first European production facility through this week’s acquisition of Protecx Medical Ltd, in Hitchin, UK. By joining forces with this first class facility, Burlington is able to cut costs for its European customers, and even more importantly drastically reduce its lead times. This strategic move will contribute greatly to the service Burlington provides its European customers both before and after the sale.
These are exciting times as the company will continue to use both brand names in its UK and export markets, and plans to introduce the ProtecX brand into the US, a new market for ProtecX.
Burlington Medical based in Newport News, Virginia founded in 1969 offers a wide range of radiation aprons and accessories across the US and are well known for their level of care, concern and attention they pay to our customers’ needs.
ProtecX are the UK’s leading manufacturer & supplier of personal radiation protection products. Offering customers in house manufactured lead aprons and accessories, plus a catalogue of supporting accessories, including glasses, storage units and other core products from trusted partners.
Specialising solely in personal radiation protection, gives both companies an edge over competitors and a wealth of expertise. And this new venture can only go to strengthen the position for both brands.
